LEARNING AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE THIRD SECTOR THROUGH ACADEMIC RESEARCH

Abstract

This work aimed, through an experience report and a qualitative approach, to describe the experience of learning and sharing about the Third Sector through academic research. In this path, the descriptions of the experiences were used, indicating the theoretical and methodological subsidies provided for the learning process to take place, in addition to the description of the research practices carried out during the period in which the main author received a scholarship from the Academic Incentive Program (BIA) of the Foundation of Support to Science and Technology of Pernambuco (FACEPE), being guided by the coauthor of the report. It is understood that the results presented in the BIA Program made the research actions significantly relevant to the construction of academic knowledge, in addition to providing scholarship students with new horizons for their personal, university and professional life, making them equipped with knowledge relevant to follow-up on the course. Thus, the report of such an experience can guide other students, as well as justify the permanence of such incentive policies at the university level.
